Fergal Whelan-Porter is an accomplished entrepreneur with a deep understanding of commercial aerospace. An alumnus of Newbridge College, University of Limerick, Dublin Business School, and the Institute of Directors, Fergal holds degrees/post-grad qualifications in European Studies (Economics, Politics & Languages), Business Studies, Finance, and Company Direction. He has also gained qualifications in EASA Part M, Airworthiness Accountable Management, B737/CFM56 line maintenance, and Engine Condition Monitoring. As the founder and CEO of Aeolus International Ltd / Aeolus Engine Services and Chairman of Aeolus SPV 1 DAC, Fergal has over 30 years of experience in the aviation aftermarket industry. He has held various positions in management, customer support, purchasing, and engineering with established industry players such as PWA Intl., Aviation Systems Intl., SR Technics, AAR, Chromalloy Holland, and Interturbine (NL & GER). Under his capable stewardship, Aeolus Engine Services has achieved impressive year-on-year growth and continues to expand through exciting new developments and strategic programmes.

Anna Whelan-Porter is an ACCA qualified accounting technician and a valued board member of Aeolus International Ltd / Aeolus Engine Services. Joining the company in 2004 as Accounting Manager and progressing to a directorship in 2015, Anna has played a crucial role in the company’s development. Previously, she was the Accounting Controller for E3 Systems, a communications and navigation company in Mallorca, Spain. Anna has also been a proprietor of various hospitality establishments in Spain, applying her entrepreneurial skills to the strategic growth of Aeolus Engine Services.

Clare Maloney is the Senior Vice President of Operations at Aeolus Engine Services. With a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from the Institute of Technology, Carlow, Clare brings a wealth of expertise and technical acumen to her role. She has been a key contributor to the company’s success and has played a pivotal role in strategic growth within the Mid-life Engine Leasing and Fleet Solutions market. Clare continues to drive the company’s performance by getting things done to the highest standards of excellence expected at Aeolus and to meet the challenging needs of our global client base.
